Geocache Description:

This is one of a series of geocaches put along the length of what is known as the Tarka Trail, which in turn is part of the South West Coastal trail.

This series are fairly well spread along the trail, allowing for a wonderful and relaxing walk along the estuary.

One word of caution – keep an eye out for cyclists as this is a popular riding track.

This is the first 'real' view of the estuary close-up if walking from Braunton (or the last if heading the other way). There are number of house-boats nearby that are obviously afloat / beached depending on where the tide is.

The cache itself is in an easily reachable spot (above the flood line!) in between a couple of these boats. Note - we were not sure what the big brown / blue one with the number YC354 is actually called!

The cache is a small rectangular box
