Geocache Description:

This is one of a series of geocaches put along the length of what is known as the Tarka Trail, which in turn is part of the South West Coastal trail.

This series are fairly well spread along the trail, allowing for a wonderful and relaxing walk along the estuary.

One word of caution – keep an eye out for cyclists as this is a popular riding track.

This cache is a short way off the trail on a path up to the main road.

It is near what is now The Braunton Inn, a grand old building that has had many uses and names over the years. The name that most locals would know it as is Heanton Court, and it is still a popular spot for visitors to dine and have a relaxing drink by the estuary

The cache is a small clip-lock box
