Geocache Description:

This is one of a series of geocaches put along the length of what is known as the Tarka Trail, which in turn is part of the South West Coastal trail.

This series are fairly well spread along the trail, allowing for a wonderful and relaxing walk along the estuary.

One word of caution – keep an eye out for cyclists as this is a popular riding track.

This cache is another easy find along the trail by a rather lonely set of small trees.

The name 'High Strand' refers to the flat bank immediately adjacent to the trail here - where the 'strand' (or 'strond' in Old English) essentially is the shore at high tide

The cache box is a small/medium clip-lock
