Geocache Description:

This is one of a series of geocaches put along the length of what is known as the Tarka Trail, which in turn is part of the South West Coastal trail.

This series are fairly well spread along the trail, allowing for a wonderful and relaxing walk along the estuary.

One word of caution – keep an eye out for cyclists as this is a popular riding track.

This is possibly the most tricky of the trail caches to this point as it is off the main track to the north side in a small opening in the bushes

You will need to duck under a holly bush branch in order to access the area

Pottingdon refers to the area of Barnstaple, and is the name of the industrial estate immediately adjacent

The cache is a small round box
