The Brick Cottage Mystery Cache

This cache has been archived.

Skookum Bear: As the cache owner has not indicated that they have visited the cache location to replace it if it was missing, perform needed maintenance, or verify that it is still there within a reasonable amount of time, I am regretfully archiving the cache to clear it from the active cache database and open the area to new caching opportunities. If the cache owner would like to replace a cache at this location, please submit a new geocache listing and it will be reviewed under the current Geocaching guidelines.

Please do not respond to this note by sending an email reply - your response will go to an unmonitored location and disappear into the ether instead of being sent to me. If you need to contact me regarding this cache, please do so using the link on my Profile Page

Geocache Description:

This is the first puzzle cache we have ever hidden. There are already a few caches around the marsh, but I thought there should be one that highlights this little piece of history. The coords given lead you to a sign with the information needed for half your numbers. For the other half your going to have to physically inspect the cottage. Please respect your surroundings, there is absolutely no need to tear up ANYTHING. The only thing you may need is some height for the final. Here are your clues! Good luck and happy caching! If you have any questions or concerns feel free to shoot me an e-mail.

N 49° 09.AB

W 123° 58.CAD

A=The number of bricks arched over the front doorway of the cottage MINUS 4

B=The year that the picture of the cottage on its original set was taken MINUS the year it was estimated to have been built

C=The number of door/s and window/s on the front face of the cottage (facing the parking lot)

D=The number of early brickhouses estimated to have survived (from the original setting)
