photo trex_zps1fc2ee20.jpg photo trex2_zpsdb0c5d08.jpg Was privileged to see T-Rex live when they came to Motherwell Civic ctr, alas they were losing their popularity at the time and there was only a few hundred there, my mate and I recall the gig with very fond memories as Marc passed out cans of McEwans pale ale to the fans, by the end of the gig they were all...well lets just say worse for wear...will never forget them...as we say...pure dead brilliant!! Lead singer Marc Bolan born 30th Sept 1947 died 16th Sept 1977, Car crash.....was nearing his 30th birthday when the mini car his girlfriend was driving hit a metal fence then a tree in London. R.I.P Marc..sadly missed
