In Dease lake. From highway, turn onto Stikine st. by Northway retaurant. When you have to turn, turn left. Park at the top of the hill leading down to the lake. You might be able to drive down, but the road is loose sand and gravel in spots and getting back up may be a problem depending on the vehicle you are driving. Anyway, its only a short walk down. Trail should be obvious once you are near fire pit in photo.
This is a nice trail along a bit of land jutting into Alan lake. There may be some blowdown but the trail gets swamped out, usually in the spring. Snowshows may be required in the winter depending on the activities of the local snomobilers.
As with all northern caches, there is wildlife in the area and although I have never seen one on this part of the trail, Grizzly and black bear are about. Don't go looking right after having Salmon for lunch :)
