SAS 13 - Bird Paradise
The estuary of the Axe River is a mosaic of freshwater grazing marsh and saltmarsh, reedbed, mudflats, ponds, ditches and – of course – the river itself. Many twitchers gather here to observe a wide variety of birds throughout the year. At low tide, you should be able to drop down and walk along the side of the estuary, possibly even into the mudflats themselves (although you don't need to get as muddy as my kids usually do!).
As the first 2 containers went missing, we have moved the cache from the original positions and have also changed the cache container. The hint has also been updated. There is a possibility that you might get your feet wet at high tide so please obviously only try to retrieve the cache when it is safe to do so!
Please bring a pen and also be very careful of the nearby road into Seaton.
