A micro on a scenic country road in Carroll County.
This cache is along Bucher John Rd near Union Bridge in Carroll County. It borders the back of our family farm which bears the name of the cache. I'd been wanting to put one out here for a while and finally got around to it. From the GZ you will get a nice view of some of the 7200 trees we planted a few years ago for soil conservation and wildlife. The entire area is quite scenic and from the front of the farm you get a clear view of Catoctin Mountain. There is a graveled pull off a couple hundred yards to the east but traffic is light and you can safely park by pulling over to the side most anywhere on the east side in dry weather.
Bucher John was apparently a noted local surveyor whose signature appears on the early plats for a number of properties including ours.
