SAS 2 - The Axe Open
The listed co-ordinates do not take you to GZ but to a nice spot where you can grab a coffee after your walk up the steep hill (if you have come from Seaton). You can also take some time to solve the puzzle which will take you to GZ!
Wouldn't it be great if these 2 golfers were ever to compete against each other at Axe Cliff Golf Club (the Axe Open)?
If they ever did, then I would definitely position myself behind the first green to watch them and also the wonderful view of Seaton and Beer in the distance. I reckon that the match might go something like this:
The first four holes wouldn't be that important to the overall match, very much as expected. The next hole would see our friend from Northern Ireland shoot a 4 and his opponent from way out West would card an even more impressive 2. Things would then be fairly even until the final hole, when the last 2 shots would be the decisive ones for Golfer 1 with the final 3 shots proving all important for Golfer 2.
Overall, my money would be on the second player to win, which would be his first ever victory in the Axe Open.
Please note that you must keep to the public footpath at all times and do not have to search on the golf course for the cache which is hidden off the course. You will need a pen and may need tweezers to extract the log sheet.
Please also be careful when replacing the cache to ensure that it is properly concealed.
