EN: As already mentioned in some other caches on this side of the island, Korcula is an island with mostly rocky coast, so if you already decided to spend your holidays here, you know that you can forget long sand beaches that stretch for miles and miles. But, the true beauty lies in a couple of secluded beaches, mostly in hidden bays around the island. There are several beautiful bays on the south-east side of the island, which is mostly uninhabited. Some of them are connected well with roads, and some are not. This one is so-so, there is a road leading to just 150m above the beach, but it’s the gravel road, and not an excellent one.
There are few houses in the bay, mostly for rent (I think), and/or owned by some local fishermen. There is another bay just few hundred meters up the road, but sun disappears there even earlier than here. White pebbles make this beach very nice for lying in the sun, but don’t forget to bring your own food and drinks, as there is no café or restaurant here.
HR: Korčula je otok s pretežno stjenovitom obalom, tako da ako ste odlučili provesti vaš odmor ovdje, već znate da možete zaboraviti duge pješćane plaže koje se protežu kilometrima daleko. Ali, prava ljepota ovdje leži u nekoliko plaža u skrivenim uvalama po cijelom otoku. Par takvih uvala se nalazi s jugoistočne strane otoka, koji je većinom nenastanjen. Neke od plaža su relativno dobro povezane cestom, neke nisu, ova spada negdje između. Postoji cesta do nekih 150 m iznad plaže, ali je makadamska, i ne brilijantna.
Postoji par kuća u uvali, većinom za iznajmljivanje (mislim), te neke od lokalnih ribara. Postoji još jedna uvala ako nastavite par stotina metara dalje cestom, ali tamo sunce zalazi još ranije nego ovdje. Okrugli bijeli oblutci čine ovu plažu idealnom za lješkarenje na suncu, ali ne zaboravite ponijeti hranu i piće, jer ovdje nema ni kafića ni restorana.
