We’re celebrating 1 million active Geocaches in the United States! In honor of this milestone, Geocaching HQ has created a list of The 8 Most Amazing Geocaches in the US for Beginners. Here is the list:

Pennsylvania's most favorited geocache Raiders of the Lost Cache GC2HN2H was included on that list! mikehoffman, the owner of this geocache, will be off on another classified mission and unable to host the event. He asked me to host this event in his place. So let’s get together to celebrate!

Where: Governor Dick Park Environmental Center
When: Saturday, September 20
Time: 8:00 a.m. - 8:20 a.m.
Who: Open to all geocachers, families, and anyone interested in learning about geocaching
What: A celebration of GC2HN2H

Here’s the plan:

We’ll get together near the parking area and trailhead for a little celebration, including fun giveaways from Geocaching HQ. Those new to geocaching are invited to attend. We’ll talk about geocaching, what makes a good beginner geocache, get to know each other, and swap stories from the geocaching trail. After the event, we’ll then take a walk to Raiders of the Lost Cache to experience one of the most amazing geocaches in the US for beginners. This event is open to all geocachers, potential geocachers, family and friends. If you know of people who are new to, or interested in geocaching, please let them know about this event. 

Most events I have hosted in the past have included donuts and this one will be no different. I will bring enough boxes of donuts to feed everyone. You bring your own coffee or other beverage. Please log a "Will Attend" so I can have enough for everyone.
