Marineland in days gone by

Although Marineland has had some difficult times during its lifetime, it has provided entertainment and education for many as well as providing a shelter for injured marine animals and birds.
In September 2013 Napier City Council announced that Marineland’s grandstand and dolphin pool “cavity” will be redeveloped into an extreme sports park, outdoor theatre and reef garden. It will be interesting to watch the progress.
UPDATE June 2018: This area has undergone a major restructuring since we first hid a cache here. We've found a new spot for it, this time on another nearby structure. A good opportunity to have a seat and people-watch until you can locate the cache unobserved. Please be extremely stealthy as the area is well-used; make sure you're not seen retrieving or replacing the cache.
The cache is a micro containing log sheet only, so you will need to bring your own pen.
