This trail is in memory of our German Shepherd Sky, who loved to hike and play here. We have a lot of good memories at this location.
Since this is Pennsylvania State Game Lands, encountering hunters is likely. Fluorescent Orange is recommended at all times, but is required during May, October, November, December and January. Have fun
Thanks to the McMartins for letting me know the ammo box was stolen and replaced by a cheap cookie tin. Really!! My 9 year old daughter was so upset someone stole the container, it was a tribute trail for our dog Sky who was also a search&rescue dog. She provided hours of service to this community. What a shame someone would do that. Hopefully one day they will see this note and do the right thing and return it. We replaced the tin with a plastic container this morning so the contents would not get wet in that crappy tin.
