We’re celebrating 1 million active Geocaches in the United States.


We’re celebrating ONE MILLION active Geocaches in the United States. In honor of this milestone, staff at Geocaching.com have released a list of The 8 Most Amazing Geocaches in the US for Beginners. The geocache GC3K9TV What the CLUCK! by Stewzoo1 was included on that list! So let’s get together to celebrate!

Where: Tendick Park
When: September 21
Time: 3 pm- 5 pm
Who: Open to all geocachers, families, and anyone interested in learning about geocaching
What: A celebration of GC3K9TV What the CLUCK!

Here’s the plan:

We’ll get together at Tendick Park for a little celebration, including fun giveaways from Geocaching HQ. Those new to geocaching are invited to attend. We’ll talk about geocaching, what makes a good beginner geocache, get to know each other, and swap stories from the geocaching trail.

After the event, we’ll then take hop in for a short drive to GC3K9TV What the CLUCK! to experience one of the most amazing geocaches in the US for beginners.

...and of course, geocaching beginners are welcome!"
