A small but wonderful lakeside stop with room for a picnic. Enjoy the beautiful views of the rising hills and still water. There is a small lay-by for a car - possibly two. There are 2 other lay-by's alongside the lake, though just off the main road - so be aware of traffic and please be careful. Pull out the picnic chairs or throw down the towels for a sit down on the nearby rocks. Biggest problem will be if there's anyone else looking at this spot.
Just off the main parking area, the cache is near to a walking path. The small lay-by is accessible by car or by walking from the nearby Llyn Gwynant campsite. Keep the children away from the main road and they will enjoy a paddle in the lake. There's no difficult terrain once you're off the road. Hang out the back of the car for a picnic while others search for the Geocache.
