Slatina is a wide lonely cove placed on the furthest southern side of the island. It has a beautiful beach made of white pebbles and crystal clear sea. Behind the beach itself, you can see one of a few of the island's half salty ponds where sometimes some interesting bird species can be spotted. In very dry summers, this pond loses its water. Some natives says that mud found in this pond has medical features. However, it is not recommended to use it for that purpose and it is wiser not to come too close to the pond if it is full of water.
