Geocache Description:

This is a cache and dash, a small container with only a log, bring a pen. There is a small layby on the lane into the Bog Meadows, if you decide to find the caches in the meadows at least one will require wellies.  Congratulations ED999 for FTF.

Welcome to the Bog Meadows, an oasis of wildlife in the city.  The Ulster Wildlife Trust maintains the meadows and the RSPB have placed bird boxes in the meadows and the Falls Park to encourage the swallows and swifts to nest there on their journey where they summer in Ireland and winter in Africa.  The birds fly for weeks and can shut down half their brain while they are flying!
