Geocache Description:

This cache is an adopted member of Canada4Life's K.V.R. Series, hidden along the historic Kettle Valley Railway.

This cache is hidden just off the historic Kettle Valley Railway at the former site of Ruth Station. The station was named after one of Andrew McCulloch’s daughters. The remains of the section house and other buildings are still visible here.

The cache is in a lock-n-lock container covered with camouflage duct tape. Beautiful views of the Okanagan Valley and lake can be seen on the way to the cache.

After finding this cache continue hiking down the historic rail bed to the trestles and other caches in the area.

This cache was originally hidden by geocachers lbigase, Andrew Bigelow, and Herb Reimche. It was adopted and replaced by Canada4Life in the fall of 2007, after it went missing.
