As a child I remember a little old man lived across this bridge, in a little (very little) white house He wore a kilt and spoke with a thick brogue. He had no family but many in this little village considered him one of theirs.
A great cache location, especially if you are looking for a place to stay in the village. Adjacent to the bridge is "The Mansion" a place refered to by the village folk and a stately piece of real estate that was built by the Caldwell family that owned and operated many businesses in the Lanark. A family referred to in Mastetcacherz nearby Restin cache. Now operated as a bed and breakfast it has been brought back to life by the current owners. Bobby's house was the caretakers home, which was one of two, neither of which remains.
