NOTE: GPS jumps a bit here, coordinates may NOT be as accurate here as is normally expected. Bing Aerial has the most current view NOT Google maps. I often use aerials to fine tune cache coordinates, but have not measured the accuracy of their maps to GPS coordinates (Google is very accurate)
A number of fun aspects to this cache.
- Exercise - A great walk or run along the river (Construction underway to complete the coarse by 2015)
- Views - A great up-close view of the skyline, the river and more.
- Challenge - Not a hard hide, but tricky and need to be stealthy is there
- Saturation - There is a LOT of caches in downtown Tampa, so it is like doing a power trail. Granted a little bit higher risk of missing caches (goes with being in an urban territory). But a fun and different caching environment.
- Nighttime - This cache is plenty available at night. Depending on the hour and such, a partner might be good idea though.
This is definitely on the north side of the roadway/bridge. It is NOT an LPC (I don't think those bases lift up anyway. I tried to hide it in a spot where one would be less suspicious and you could play off searching as just curious about the water and what not nearby. In other words, don't be too stealthy, just pretend you are a curious looker.
