Geocache Description:

The coords are not a mystery, the mystery is if you've done everything in order to go to the physical cache and log to earn your smiley.  The coords on the map are where you will find a small camoed container with only the log inside for you to sign.

I've seen a lot of different challenges in and around our area but I have yet to see a challenge that involves finding Earthcaches. Since going to the sites of Earthcaches happens to be my personally favorite thing about Geocaching (that and actually hiding containers myself), I decided to step up to the plate and take a swing at creating this challenge. So here goes. First off, I wouldn't ask anyone to undertake a challenge that I have not already actually qualified for myself. With that said, here goes, to earn your smiley please write out the GC codes of 20 Earthcache finds that you've personally logged as found. So why is that hard you may ask? Well the other requirement in order to earn your smiley is that they must be finds with at least 1 in the state of Ohio, and at least 1 Earthcache in 4 other states, for a total of 5 different states in the USA that you successfully completed and logged an Earthcache in. If you happened to have logged an Earthcache in more than 5 different states then you are welcome to include more than 5 states amongst your list of 20 but only 5 states are necessary in order for you to meet the goal. I highly encourage (although its not a requirement) loggers to also include photographs of themselves at some of the Earthcache sites that they've visited in the past to make this a fun and interesting log for others to look at and enjoy and check out. If you have any questions or concerns about the requirements feel free to send me an email thru the website, although that's not a requirement either to earn your smiley. I'm hoping you all have fun with this one, I look forward to checking out your lists, and seeing the interesting places that my fellow cachers visit.
