Geocache Description:

This is a bit of a cross between a mystery and a multi - couldn't decide on what category to put it in so placed it in the mystery category as there are a number of puzzles to solve along the way - there is nothing too tricky about it, you just need to work through each part carefully.

This mystery/multi cache is all based on dinosaurs and the physical caches are all placed along or on branches of one of my most favourite roads to drive in the region.

Don't go to the posted coordinates as they are totally bogus!

Dinosaurs seem to have been a theme in my classroom this year. The children helped with some of the parts of this cache and ensured that my maths was correct.

Stage One: This starts you off and is fairly important to complete. Some may be able to skip this stage, but most won't.

Stage Two: The next step on your dino journey.  Now you are beginning to make some real progress.  Solving Stage One will certainly help you with this.

Stage Three: Now, if you have done everything right, you will have your first set of coordinates and it is time to get out there in the field and begin hunting for your very own dinosaur.  You will need to do some serious maths to solve this stage.  Please make sure you use geocheck even if you are absolutely sure of where you need to go.

Stage Four:  Getting very close to bagging your very first dinosaur!  This could once have been a favourite hunting ground of the wee guy that you are on the trail of. The GPS is a little patchy near GZ, the coordinates should get you to within 10m and the hint will help you with the rest.

Stage Five: Be very, very quiet .... you are very close now!

Please be extremely careful when out in the field.  Make sure you are careful and park well off the road.  Some of the physical stages are not suitable for very young kids.  Please take extreme care when getting in and out of your vehicle at each stage.

The first two cache containers are small sistema containers. The final contains only a log and is kind of an unusually shy little guy. You will need some tweezers to entice him to give up his lunch.
