Geocache Description:

This cache has been placed on a public footpath between the villages of Earl Shilton and Elmesthorpe, which are now divided by the recently constructed "Clickers Way". Between the 19th and late 20th centuries, Earl Shilton was a busy industrial village with numerous shoe, hosiery and knitwear factories. The village of Elmesthorpe dates back to the 13th century.

The terrain is easy. The pathway is well-separated from the bypass by a high bank. There is space to park in a nearby housing estate. Please be careful with children if approaching from Earl Shilton-while there is a good path, this road can be busy at times. I would strongly recommend using the nearby crossing if approaching from this direction. For a pleasant walk, why not park in Elmesthorpe to the south, and use the public footpath over the fields? This could form part of a larger walk, taking in caches to the south west on Burbage Common (such as 4x4's 1st Adventure series) and the caches starting with Faerie Fallow (GC45F6H)  to the North east.

You will need to bring a pen or pencil, and perhaps something to get the log out. Please replace the cache exactly as and where you find it.

***Well done to Axlmarz on your 1st FTF!!!***
