Boat On The River Traditional Cache

This is another in the series of caches named after songs from my youth.

Boat On The River was a track by Styx that appeared on the 1979 album 'Cornerstone'. The track itself was released as a single in the following year. It did not however chart in the bands native United States, but it was popular in Europe, reaching number 5 in Germany, 2 in Austria and the number 1 spot in Switzerland.

The cache is a green tube type container and does not contain a pen,so make sure you bring a writing implement with you. The original cache has been muggled so please replace the cache as found.

Although there is a path through the area, it does become quite muddy so it is not suitable for wheelchairs or buggies. There is also water nearby so please take care with little cachers and geohounds.

The area is regularly used by joggers and dog walkers so It might be a good idea to relocate to the nearby bench to sign the log so as not to give the cache location away to passing muggles. 

If your lucky, you may even see a 'Boat On The River'!
