Geocache Description:

This cache should be a fun, quick find for anyone already in the area and a nice place to take a break if you are traveling through.  Kid-friendly, and you can ‘stay and play’ after you are done if you are looking for an incentive to have your kids help you find the cache…

The cache is located just off the recently completed first leg of the future 26 acre trail system in Allamuchy.  This trail system will span both Hunterdon and Warren counties and be a destination for both hikers and bikers.  For now, it is a short walking trail that almost ends at a retired railroad bed previously used by the Lehigh and Hudson River Railroads--and links up with some other caches.

The cache is a medium sized ammo container and should be an easy find, designed for kids to hunt.  Original contents are geared to the ‘under 10’ set, but there’s a few goodies for those of you who aren’t sharing your visit with a young geocacher.

FTF prize is a lottery scratch off ticket and first pick of the goodies which include a WG$1 Bill.

Parking is available across from the trailhead next to the playground on Alphano Road outside Panther Valley’s back gate.  This area will be obvious once you get close.
