The field is located behind Rhodes North Tavern in Sloatsburg. Turn at the light near the restaurant and continue down road... you can't miss it! It is open from 6 a.m to 11 p.m. ... It has a track with fitness equipment along the path.... It has softball fields, open space for soccer/hockey/etc. It also has a playground, tennis and basketball courts, and a roller rink. There are also picnic tables if you want to spend the day and have lunch!
This cache is full of mostly kid-friendly items. It will be an ideal location for a quick TB/GC drop once the initial large items are claimed (right now it's a little full) First geo-puppy to find this cache gets a special bit of swag of his/her own (hint, it's noisy!) .... so bring your dogs! :)
You may want to bring your own pen or pencil, just in case. There's a TINY pencil in there to start... it's all that fits. I just can't guarantee it won't break or be lost...
***No need to cross the water to get this one ... and don't fall in ;) Be careful of snakes, poison ivy, ticks, and other forms of wildlife. I almost stepped on a garter snake when I was placing this one. :) ***
