A fourth class cadet, C4C, is one who has completed basic cadet training and has received shoulder boards; one who has been welcomed into the cadet Wing. The fourth class cadet goes through the academic year under many restrictions and rules of engagement that make the year challenging. One rule is that backpacks can never be worn; they must always carry it in their left hand, learning to always salute officers with their right hand. Shoulder boards: Cloud
