This cache is at the South end of a lovely meadow, which is awash with wildflowers in the spring and a few asters later in the year. As with the north end, this end also sports a small stand of Redwoods. The cache is tucked among them, please do not bend or break their tiny branches. You should be able to spot the cache with good observation.
There may be some small sprigs of Poison Oak and small briars in the vicinity of the cache. As this is a remote and open place, be aware snakes, ticks and the occasional Drop Bear (only among Eucalyptus trees) may be in residence and accorded due respect.
