We deliver box lunches to a couple of the flying services at Lake Hood all summer from mid May until mid September. The number of sandwiches will run anywhere from 700 to 1000 depending on weather and wildlife. Some days it is "forever sandwiches". Every morning after we deliver we stop along this park and watch our sandwiches fly off into the wilds of Alaska. This is a great spot to sit a watch. The sunset is spectacular here.
Lake Hood is a very busy float plane lake and a great place to watch them take off and land. Congrats to bugbug biggriz and Hockeychicks for FTF.
