The New River Canal goes from the intracoastal to the west coast of Florida. The canal is now blocked from continuous passage to the west bg by a flood gate near the old Sewell Lock. Fishing is good along the canal, mostly for snook and tarpon.
Accessible via water, (possibly land) you can park & launch east of the cache(s) in the Riverland Woods Park. Please sign log for credit. BYOP
