This hide is in an area frequented by fishermen and honeycombed with paths that come and go with the seasons and the water level. You might consider this one between the higher roads and the lower roads. The lower approaches can be very slick when wet, or even underwater during or following heavy rains here or farther up the river. The higher approaches are less-well defined. Both have some briars and, during the warmer months, plenty of poison ivy and mosquitos and other insects. If you see a snake, it likely will be a blacksnake that will probably flee immediately.
