Geocache Description:

I am reactivating my challenge caches, but if the incorrect logging continues I will be forced to archive them.

READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY

  • If you log a find without following the logging requirements on the cache page your log will be permanently deleted.
  • If you log a find without meeting the qualifications for the challenge your log will be deleted, but you may relog it whenever you do qualify.
  • NOTE: Referencing Project GC as proof that you qualify DOES NOT meet the logging requirements for any of these caches. Project GC is not always right, and they have a disclaimer on their page stating that.

This one is quite challenging because of the age of the caches needed to fulfill the requirements.  Newer cachers will probably have a difficult time with it.  Please read the requirements carefully to be sure you qualify.

You may sign the log at any time, but you can only log the cache after you meet the requirements below.

To prove that you meet the requirements include a list in your log showing the 12 qualifying caches.  Your list must include the GC numbers, cache names, cache types and the month that each cache was placed.

REQUIREMENTS:

This cache is a mini "Jasmer" challenge with a twist.  All caches used to qualify for this cache must be non-traditional types.

  1. Find and log a non-traditional cache that was placed in each month during 2003.  (12 caches needed to qualify for this challenge).
  2. Here is how to determine the date you can use for your list. Go to your profile page, click on geocaches and select a cache type from the list. Click on the top of the column titled "placed". The date used in this column is the one to use for your list.
  3. Any cache type may be used to meet this requirement except traditional caches, lab caches and locationless caches.  (I used a variety of cache types, but you can use all one type if you wish)

To verify that I have met these requirements, here is my list:

  1. January  GCCA5E  The Lone Sailor   Virtual
  2. February  GCD008   Edison House    Virtual
  3. March  GCE638   Harshman Bridge Cache   Virtual
