Pietra Murata Traditional Cache

Das ist einer unserer Lieblingswanderwege auf der Insel Elba mit vielen schoenen Aussichtspunkten. Somit mussten wir unseren ersten Elba - Cache hier verstecken. (Längere Variante ) 1 - Parken bei der Kirche Pieve di San Giovanni Battista Folgt ihr den Wanderweg 7a rote und weiße Markierung. Der Weg ist teils im Wald, teils auf offenem Gelände. Im offenen Gelände geht der Wanderweg relativ steil nach oben, somit ist ein Start in der Mittagssonne nicht unbedingt zu empfehlen. Auf halben Weg kann man einen kleinen Abstecher zur Ruine de Borsella machen.  N 42 45.224 E 010 11.972.   Weiter gehts nach oben den Markierungen rot / weiss folgend. Oben angekommen ist eine Karte mit der Übersicht über das ganze Gelände. Unser Cache ist bei Nummer 4 versteckt. Die Caprile di Pietra Murata ist ein beeindruckendes Felsengebilde. Hier steht es euch frei, noch den ein oder anderen Aussichtspunkt von insgesamt 13 zu besuchen. Zurück geht´s durch den Pinienwald - die Parkplatzkoordinaten N 42 45.699 E 010 11.909 von Variante 2 sind hier als Orientierung hilfreich. Dort angekommen könnt ihr 2 -3 Kurven der Strasse entlang runter wieder zur Kirche Pieve di San Giovanni laufen.

Variante 2. von dem Parkkoordinaten oben direkt durch den Pinienwald zu den Zielkoordinaten wandern :-)

This is one of our favorite hiking trails on the island of Elba with many beautiful vantage points. So we had our first Elba - cache hide here. (Longer Version) 1 - Parking at the church Pieve di San Giovanni Battista Do you follow the trail 7a red and white marking. The trail is mostly in forest, partly on open terrain. In open terrain, the trail is relatively steep upward, thus is a start in the midday sun is not necessarily recommended. Half way you can make a small detour to the ruins de Borsella N 42 45 224 E 010 11 972. Next go up to the markings in red / white following. At the top is a map with the overview over the whole terrain. Our cache is hidden at number 4. The Caprile di Pietra Murata is an impressive rock formations. Our traditions - Coordinates N 42 45 164 010 10 982 E see spoiler photo. Here, you are free, yet to visit one or the other viewpoint of a total of 13. Back you go through the pine forest - the parking coordinates N 42 45,699 E 010 11.909 of variant 2 are here as a guide helpful. Once there you whatâ 2 -3 curves along the road back down through the church Pieve di San Giovanni. - done shorter Variante 2 You park at the parking coordinate N 42 45.699 E 010 11.909. You go through the pine forrest until you come to the overall fiew card of the terrain and then you can go directly to the cache at number 4.
