A short walk from the carpark is the Davie Park playpark which has recently been upgraded making it the perfect place for little ones to burn off some steam. Further past the park is the football grounds where there is often a game being played.
There is plenty of wildlife to spot at Loon Braes Pond including different types of waterbirds and amphibians, the ducks are quite friendly and muggles are often in this area feeding them. In the summer months there are often baby birds to be spotted by the pond.
This area can be busy with dog walkers and muggles so please be careful when retrieving cache and please close lid and rehide the cache well.
