This is a simple geocache forming part of the Via Beata series of caches linking the east coast of the UK to the west coast. The cache is a small container with space for swappables. Enjoy a moment of peace and quiet in this unusual location. :-)
This cache is hidden at the Via Beata waystation in Roudham and is one of a series of caches placed on the Via Beata route. Once found the spot is a perfect sheltered resting place. Please park with care as the cache is hidden on the route to Combat Paintball and though the track is not busy there are often cars passing by. Via Beata is latin for Way of Blessing and is a series of Christian sculptures providing resting places for walkers from the most easterly point of England at Lowestoft to St David's in Wales on the far west coast. The Banham waystation (please look it up) was the first Via Beata waystation to be set up and as the project is progressing more and more waystations are being placed along the route. Each waystation features a different sculpture, each with a different story behind it. This cache hiding spot provides a great place for a rest with sheltered seating and the opportunity to view the sculpture.
