Geocache Description:

Located along the Creston National Fish Hatchery Nature Trail. The trail is relatively level with the first 200 feet paved and the rest of the trail wood chipped or dirt. BYOP

Parking is available off the Creston Hatchery Road just north of the office building and across from Jessup Pond.

Permission has been granted to place 2 caches along the trail with the caveat geocachers will use the existing trail to access the caches and not create new trails by bushwhacking from the road.

The name of this cache was created by the Creston National Fish Hatchery personnel and they have the following information to pass on to you......

"In the Fall of 2013. former employees of the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service (FWS) held a reunion in Kalispell. They decided to honor an extraordinary Former FSW Director, Lynn Greenwalt, by holding the First Annual nature walk entitled the "Greenwalt Walk for Wildlife". To celebrate his spirit and the appreciation of all things wild the inaugural hike was hosted by the Creston NFH and took place along this trail."

From this parking spot you can access 2 other caches in the area - GC2GK4P and GC5CQ3H
