Park at the entrance of the highway. If you decide to hike up, you will find caches along a loop route. If you opt to drive, I highly recommend a 4-wheel drive with high clearance. Part of the way up, you’ll have to crawl slowly to avoid feeling the ruts, boulder and slides. Driving: T=5. Oh yeah, you’ll miss the caches on the section of loop that restricts motor vehicles use.
Be careful of the bundle of barbed wire on the downhill slope. The cache is not there.
Bring water, camera (you’ll regret it if you forgot), and binoculars.
