This is one of Dusty's favorite trail to run. She goes on walks with me or runs along Jim's mountain bike. Being a border collie, she puts in more miles than we do. On these jaunts, Dusty needs water to drink and a place to cool down. Given her resourcesfulness, she found a water source off the road that she enjoys a lot. In late August of this year of drought, the pool was deep enough for her to swim in (not just get her paws wet).
I placed a hanging micro on the other side of the creek. I don't know if it's accessible when there is more water running. It that is the case, I will move it elsewhere.
