Geocache Description:

The history of Jefferson Township's newest park is still evident in its landscape. On Reynoldburg-New Albany Rd. just north of Jefferson Cemetary, the entrance to Olde Quarry Park slopes down into a deep wooded valley, the site of an old working quarry. In fact, the railroad viaduct that runs into Blacklick Creek was made from stone from that quarry. Features include: a reservable shelter house, picnic areas, restroom facility, fishing pond, walking trails.

This cache is in honor of Neil K. Lantz who passed March 3, 2014. His love for nature and the buckeyes was great!

You are lookinng for a small army surplus like container. (It is water tight but please make sure the cap is on firmly when you place.) Room for items to trade including a few from my children Mia and Carter (Neil's grandchildren). The cache sits up on a hill amongst several buckeye trees. Enjoy this new park!
