The Vogrie Cachers welcome you to Vogrie. As well as the parkland there are also two playparks, one near the car parking and another further down. The trees along here all have a tale to tell, and have been here for many years.
This cache has been hidden for the Vogrie IV event being held on 20 September 2014. Come and enjoy the beautiful autumn colours in the stunning grounds of the historic Vogrie Country Park. There are 11.5 miles of signed footpaths passing through sweeping parkland, woodlands and the River Tyne Valley. This year something slightly different. All the caches are fully visible; there is no 'pile of stones' or 'under log' hints. They are there, you just need to find them. But watch out they all have a sneaky twist. Some you will have seen before, but hopefully a few of them will slow you down and make you think. Easy! However there are a number of challenges as there are rivers to cross, hills to climb and mud to bathe in. There are also many fine trees that tend to confuse your GPS. Please be warned!
