Parking is available at the day use area. There are plenty of trails that lead out to the area you seek. You'll find a social trail that leads out to the end of the peninsula, but this cache is hidden closer to the parking lot than the tip of the land mass. By staying on the trail you'll avoid the thorns and poison oak. This cache has been placed with the permission and supervision of the park rangers.
