NOTE: The cache is located some distance off the main path. By far the easiest way to get there is to turn at the suggested waypoints, even though you may seem to be walking past the cache location for a short while. When you turn off the forest path you can walk along a shallow ditch towards GZ. Once there the cache should be an easy find.
The cache is a good size for swaps, and had a few goodies in it when first hidden. Please swap fairly. A lot of tree cover, so accurate GPS reading may be tricky. The cache is pretty exposed however, so shouldn't take too much rummaging around to find.
This section of the walk takes you away from the country road onto a forest trail. From #3 keep walking along the road, walking past the turn-off to Logie House, until you come to a path on your right into the forest (see waypoint T1). Follow this forest path until the second suggested turning point (waypoint T2) then go fully off road to find the cache! If you follow the instructions above you should manage to find a route to GZ that avoids the need to start bushwhacking your way through. Of course, you may always find a better route than I did!
Keep your eyes peeled for wildlife, and at the right time of year you may see quite a few toadstools around on your trek to the cache.
Please remember, this is a working forest and there may be some occasional tree felling going on from time to time. Please do avoid any areas with obvious signs of forestry work taking place.
Beware: the path can get quite muddy after rain. Boots are advised (although the day I hid it, I survived ok in trainers)!
Thanks to Ewan, the forest owner, for permission to place these caches in the woodland.
