I.Ruff.This.Cache! Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

TropicalHeritage: This one will travel with the B and Re crew making their way up north. This cache, like its owners, also started as a northern cache. It was to be placed in 2005 in the Cleveland area. B never got around to it, so it sat patiently for THT to make it their first cache. This container holds a special place in B's heart, and will follow him around to where ever he places caches from time on. We all hope you enjoyed! So long, and thanks for all the fish! (Woof!)

Geocache Description:

Welcome to the Naples Dog Park! (http://www.naplesgov.com/index.aspx?NID=578) Park hours are dawn to dusk. If you bring your cache beast, please note that he or she needs a tag at the Community Services bldg. down the street. The cache is not inside any fenced-in area, so you most likely do not have to watch your step. Please re-align the cache once you've signed the log.

THT's μMayhem #1.1

Lovingly placed by The Tropical Heritage Team

A few weeks ago, we were saddened to find our most-cherished first cache (Worst.Cache.Ever.) had been desecrated by vulgarities and rough treatment. It became apparent that we could no longer sustain the cache at Fleishmann Park. After a long search, we have decided to move the cache away from disrespect and hormones to a location dedicated to man's best friend! If you've found Worst.Cache.Ever., please feel free to log another find.

This cache is dedicated to my first dog, K. Snoopy. K. was a wonderful dog with a very gentile temperament and great intelligence. As a beagle, he got his nose into everything, earning his nickname "roving garbage disposal" (and some others that I cannot speak of here). He had a love of walks and fetch, and could be trusted to wander with us without a leash on.

My fondest memories of him were when he was a puppy. He'd sometimes come outside with me when I was waiting for the school bus with my mom. Even though he would be on a leash, he would often break free from my mom right when he heard the bus coming down the street. To prevent him from going to school with me, we would have to catch him before I could board the bus. There were mornings that the bus had to wait for my mom and me to chase K. around the yard until we caught him. It was often a 10 minute affair!

Thank you, K. Snoopy, for being a wonderful friend and companion.

Enjoy the cache, from all of us at THT! Happy hunting!
