I found this area a bit damp in September so beware if you are looking for this cache in April!
I discovered these trails at the beginning of this summer when I decided to go for the Bike and Hike cache and decided there was room for some more caches on them. So, after scoping them out some more, I contacted the Orono Land Trust to get permission and placed them. None of the caches are hidden along the trails that are closed for a few months to protect the ground-nesting birds so PLEASE DO NOT go on those trails when they are closed. I have hidden them so you can follow the trail and make a loop around and then back to the parking.
For cachers who wish to continue along the loop, the recommended order after this would be 5-6, Pickup __ . Or, if you started with that one, the next one is No Bushwacking Required.
Trail maps can be found at oronolandtrust.org under Land and trails > Trails Maps. These trails are part of the Newman Hill, Dorian, and Hinds Conservation Easements.
