This cache has been hidden for the Vogrie IV event being held on 20 September 2014. Come and enjoy the beautiful autumn colours in the stunning grounds of the historic Vogrie Country Park. There are 11.5 miles of signed footpaths passing through sweeping parkland, woodlands and the River Tyne Valley. There are also many fine trees that tend to confuse your GPS. Please be warned!
A traditional cache to encourage you up to a less visited part of the Vogrie Estate. A well mown path surrounded by blackthorn, hawthorn and elder is your route to the cache. If you come at the right time of year it's a good place for foraging!!!
If you're too lazy to tackle this cache and its friend on this path via the main estate we have put a trailhead waypoint which gives pedestrian access along the scotways path into Vogrie.
