Make SURE to bring bug spray. Cache is near lots of water and it's in the thick of things a little... although easy to get to with shoes and a 5 minute walk. This is a nice sized cache, plenty of stuff inside and not your typical junk either.
The lake has a public pier with good fishing and I've seen people catching fish in the river below the dam. They usually have a porta-poty, picnic table and plenty of parking. Just a quiet little corner. We take the ATVs over here from time to time.
