Geocache Description:

Welcome to beautiful and peaceful Damascus Forest (parking area on Macubbins Road)! We received permission from the Damascus Township Supervisors to place caches along this (round trip) 2 mile, moderately easy trail. The trail is well-maintained and well marked, and there are outhouses at the one end of the trail if you’re truly desperate and don’t mind sharing with some small, 4 legged critters;)

We tried to place a variety of caches here so you can have a well-rounded caching day. Thanks to Eagle.007 for the containers! We hiked the trail 4 different days with 2 different GPS’s so we could come up with the best coordinates possible. We even took a friend along to see if she could find the caches without clues, and she had no problem. Please allow for signal bounce in the woods. If you’re stuck, feel free to shoot us an email, and we should be able to respond right away.

We didn’t come across any snakes or poison ivy, but that’s not to say you won’t! The caches will be more difficult to find with snow, and you won’t have to tear apart any stone walls to find them. Just to be safe, bring your own pen. Remember to CITO. And have fun!

You are looking for a medium lock and lock container filled with a colorful surprise.
