Geocache Description:

The 12th of October is International Earthcache Day.

I held an event last year and really enjoyed it. So thought, new city, new year and why not another event?

Hopefully I will be able to get some swag off the Earthcache people.

This is near to the site of my last Earthcache find.

This year, 2014, celebrates 10 years of Earthcaches.

Sometimes the most challenging type of cache to log depending on what the cache owner's questions are.

As always they take you to really interesting areas and usually have something pretty spectacular to see.

This event will be held at 4pm Sunday the 12th of October at the posted coordinates for approximately 30 minutes.

There WILL be a log book and there WILL be an icon gained for logging an EARTHCACHE this day- so make sure you get one in.

Wet weather and/or further socialising will be held at the Ponyfish Island bar, one bridge further up the river towards the St Kilda Rd over bridge. Its the island in the middle.
