Located in a nature preserve in Shorewood Wisconsin off of the
upper Lake Drive. The walk down is easy enough, though getting back
up might kill you if you're not in good shape. Most of th terrain
difficulty is based on the walk up. Loss of altitude from the top
of the trail to the bottom is over 300 feet. Vincetti and I thought
that if we added another cache to the area, he might get more
business for his (The Shorewood Pez Cache). The park itself is one
of our favorites and has a beautiful view of the lake. Deer and
many other animals can be seen here depending on when you come.
Access to the park can be had through a very small trail head
marked with the name of the park on it in between two homes.
Parking is allowed though varies according to the hour you arrive,
so watch the signs!
The cache container is a bee hive shaped glass canning jar
camoflauged with duct tape. The original contents are 2 pocket
knifes, three different shape hole punchers, and other childrens
type trinkets. It is not a very big container, so be careful what
you bring.
